Cute T-Shirt Quilt

This is the cutest T-Shirt! Our county school board president is a quilter and she used a T-shirt from every school in our county to make this quilt to hang in the central office. I didn't get a very good picture but I tried to do as many different designs in the various backgrounds and I could. It was definitely a fun quilt to work on. Judy

  • hey Judy!!
Found you on the APQS site!!I'm just starting a blog about quilts..and stuff.. Great t-shirt quilt!! I'm guessing this will bring you some more biz!!I love to quilt too...mostly fondle fabric, think about it,roll around in it..haha. I,ve been long-arming for almost a year now and am very impatient to have more biz!. I belong to 2 guilds,am thinking of joining a third, and am working in the fabric dept. part time for a large crafts chain. I have a page on FindAQuilter.com and am starting my own website. This next week another long-armer and I are giving a presentation to educate quilt piecers about longarming services. So, I think I'm out there enough...also very excited to see your designs published as patterns for sale!!I am on the verge of finding a "real" full time job, because the previously mentioned work combo's arent coming close to paying my bills.I had hoped at this point in my life I had payed my dues with all of the unrelated jobs and cant quite get rid of the "working in the textiles/quilts" dream.Sounds like you're livin it!!! Any advice!?

  • I'm glad that you were able to share this pic with us, Judy. I love the words...great idea!

My MIL was just talking about making a T-shirt quilt for one of her grandsons for graduation. I'm going to have to show her this.
