Word Progress
Oh, we are having so much fun! We've ripped more than we've left in because we're talking and not paying attention and seem to be doing everything backwards. I've learned a lot from the letters we've done so far. Tonya's instructions are on Bonnie's web page and they are so fantastic! Speck is not a friendly little critter and he has tried every way he can to bite mom and dad. After them feeding him several chunks of banana (his favorite!) and sneaking him some brisket, I think he's decided he can catch more flies with honey! Here are mom and dad sitting on the sofa and guess who's sitting between them under the blanket! So far, so good. No sudden moves by anyone and we may make it without anyone being bitten! Tomorrow is graduation. I am never sick and what do you think? I came down with the worst sore throat imaginable. I wince every time I swallow. Now my ear hurts. Can't wait to take Nyquil and go to bed tonight and get to the doctor first thing in the morning. Oops . . I hear barking in the living room . . Judy

I am impressed with how quickly you have moved from your idea for the quilt top to the piecing. It looks like you have been very productive. Good luck with the Graduation. Hope you feel better today.

Speck looks a bit antisocial in that picture !
We had a goat that hated people other than us and would run across the pasture to butt any stranger to her.
Feel better Judy.

I used to have a teacup poodle who was the same way. My FIL used to ply her with cheezits. Love the Halloween quilt!

And your dad looks almost like he's afraid to put his arms down on the couch beside him, with the dog there :D

The letters look great. Isn't it fun to quilt with your Mom? I really enjoy time spent quilting with my Mom and sisters- unfortunately it doesn't happen often enough.

I'm loving the Happy Halloween quilt. I can't wait to get into making some of those letters myself. Hope you get to feeling better real soon. Sometimes, we get so busy taking care of everyone else, we forget to take care of ourselves. Congrats on the graduation.

Our two female cats love burrowing under blankets/quilts.
Quilt is looking so great. You know it's for Halloween so you can be even more "creative" and put in letters that aren't quite right in the head, if you know what I mean.
Glad you're having fun. Or were. Sorry you're feeling poorly - get better soon.
