Hour #4

For the Hour #4 assignment, you just need to keep making those blocks. For tomorrow, we'll begin adding the squares around the block. Those can be considered sashing but they're actually a part of the block. I have some tips for making those and I'll share them with you in the morning. Here are some blogs (with photos) to visit if you want to follow the progress of others. If I've missed anyone, let me know and I'll add you: (The ones in red are the ones I've added since this morning.) Carolyn Karen Hanne Joanne Andrea Cynthia Leah Bonnie Suze Susan Nancy Carol Thanks for sharing pictures of the project on your blogs. I'm glad to know it's helping some of you along with your piecing and using of the stash. Judy L.

  • Judy, thanks for posting the links to those quilts- I've missed seeing the work ofsome of those gals, and I love to see how differently everyone works, and the difference fabric choices make. Mine is progressing, too - such fun. Thanks for running this challenge, too!

  • Thanks Judy for the links. It is so much fun to see how the different fabrics work. Every one of them is going to be good.

  • Love this one and I want to do it. But...I am showing remarkable self-control. I'm actually going to work on the one I have started! (New concept for me!) I am thinking about using Laurel Burch cat FQs with a WOW cat background. All stash!

  • Love the list of gals to visit - and I'm sure there's a dozen more who don't have blogs that are following along. This is a GREAT motivation project for me. :)

  • Judy, thanks for posting those links. Even though I'm not taking part I am thoroughly enjoying watching from the sidelines.

  • I'm doing it too, and just posted my first picture. Mine's not as pretty as the others..but that's okay--it cleared out a bunch of scraps.

  • I will enjoy watching these quilts emerge. If I didn't have 3 projects going now that I really want to finish, I would join you. Heck, I may join you and commit to 1 hour a night on one of them.
